I´d rather use VP470 120degrees antennas from Swedish Antennaspecialist se
link below. Very nice diagrams.
We have used them for 3 years now and they are excellent.
We also monted them on placec from 10m houses to 125 m towers and we havent
downtilted them at all.
At some sites we don´t use more than 2 vp´s and mount them together with an
antenna splitter (lose 3db) but works nice if 8db round has range enough.
On sides of vp we lose maybe 3-5 db but at front we approve 3-5 db. Cheap
way to improve sites. If you may loose some db´s at sides.
They also produce a bigger vp called VP870 which need slight downtilt
because it doesnt have that wide angel , but more db.

I am really green with antenna patterns so I wanted to ask those on the list
with more knowledge/experience than me.
I am replacing an 8db omni with three 120 degree 13db sector antennas. It's
a 135 foot tower and we have customers within 150 feet of the base. We have
been pleased with the coverage of the omni, just needing to expand for
growth.
>From the patterns of the omni and the new sectors, it looks to me like we
should mount the sectors without any downtilt or uptilt. Would you agree?
