Subject: [Karlnet] Ubicom woes

Hello List. Well, I've tried now for about 30 minutes to figure out how to
connect to the Ubicom I purchased recently, but am thus far unsuccessful. I
have tried setting my PC's IP to 192.168.1.10/24, 192.168.2.10/24,
192.168.255.10/24, and 10.0.1.10/24. I am using the "Wireless Navigator" to
try and scan for it, and have no firewall software on this PC. I have also
tried using an IE browser to connect manually to the 192.168.1.100 address
that seems to be listed in the tiny document that came with the Ubicom
device. I do have link on both the PC and the Ubicom and have verified the
cables and network ports on the hub and PC are good. Google didn't have any
answers for me either.

I even became desperate enough to try the Configurator, knowing full well
that the Ubicom is not an SNMP device... :)

Any suggestions? There are no "Reset to Factory Default" instructions in
the document either. Thanks in advance!

-Ben.
