I would like to see the software support a manufacturer's card that is
PCMCIA compatible with a/b/ and even possibly g support. I have about
50 units in operation in B and the idea that I can not upgrade to a
because of a plastic connector design just doesn't make sense. I have
seen some 802.11A cards with PCMCIA compatibility and I hope that the
reason they are not incorporated into the release is because of $$$
issues, as in the end we the consumer get the shaft.

cardbus

it's been a standard for a while. Try to stick an 802.11a card in a
RG-1000 the slots on the side of the card do not line up. It
differentiates one standard from another.
