Nate,
The temp sensor is a chip on the Flashrom. The AP-1000 does not have this
chip.
We do have a reference design (a board that includes to PCMCIA/Cardbus
slots, industrial chipset (for temp extremes), 2 Ethernet ports, Power over
Ethernet, a speaker to help you aim the antenna, and finally- the temp
sensor chip!) that is available that will be a very nice replacement for the
AP-1000.
I will have to ask one of the engineers the optimal temperature.

I was noticing today that there are some temp readings when I do a
Monitor>Remote Statistics on the configev when looking at my flashrom
units... Where is that reading coming from? The flashrom?
Do the AP1000s do this as well? Or just the flashrom units? And how
accurate is it?

BTW- What it optimal for them to be run at anyway? So I know if Im
running to warm..
