Hi Terry:
The machine has no BOIS configuration for parallel ports at all. I've
installed the DOS driver to remap the two serial ports and parallel port
on this card. The serial ports work fine with CT. The serial AND parallel
ports work fine with TR. All under MSDOS. So, CT wants SOMETHING from the
parallel port that TR doesn't.
I was hoping someone knows what...

Mark

I believe most PCI cards need either OS support like you get from Windows or
they need a specific DOS driver. There may be some BIOS setting that may allow
the PCI card to be managed by the BIOS and set for a legancy I/O port and IRQ,
which would be port 378 and IRQ7. But this is VERY machine specific. Does the
machine have ISA slots in it? An ISA card which manages ports and IRQ's locally
will work.
Good luck,
Terry
