I have good experience with a simple clocking free ware program
called net clock sync exe. It adjusts the internal clock (and thus
the ct-clock)automatically in regular and selectable intervals. The
reference time can be selected from several internet clocks.

I have been using CT (9 for DOS) for years but on older machines under
the Windows 98SE OS. I have up-graded my PC hardware and now have two
newer machines running under Windows XP. CT works fine on these machine
with the exception of the clock-time stamp information. While the PCs
do keep the correct time, once CT is launched the CT clock runs slow
with respect to real time. After a few hours the displayed CT time lags
the real time by several minutes. I can easily lose an hour over
night. This is a disaster for a weekend contest.
Has anyone else observed this issue? If so, is there a fix?
I would try the latest version of CT (10) or even CTWIN but I understand
that the log format is not the same as the one used in CT9 and I'm not
thrilled about doing a lot of conversions.

CTWin9 binary files are 100% compatible with CT for DOS Version 9.
CTWin10 binary files are 100% compatiblie with CT for DOS Version 10.
Download either windows version from
http://www.k1ea.com/download/index.htm#WINDOWS
If the clock problem is still there, you can always double click the Windows
Clock in the lower-right corner of the Windows task bar, then select the 3rd
tab,m "Internet time", to reset your PC clock over any current Internet
connection.

Are you running CT9 or CTWin9? Running DOS CT in Windows environment
will most likely cause the timing problem. Upgrade to V10 and run
CTWin in Windows or CTDos in DOS.
