I was starting with the assumption that 1) until the contest starts, one never 
knows what computers will be available; 2) there will be no real ?setup? time; 
and 3) the system must be cloned.  So, I denied myself the luxury of 
preplanning the IPs? but I guess there is no way to avoid preplanning the
