I recently purchased an IOGear USB to serial adapter from MicroCenter for  
$24.95 (Model GUC232A).  Works fine on my Dell Dimension 3000 for keying  using 
homebrew CT serial interface running DX4WIN.  Haven't tried it on CT,  but 
should work.
