Hello.
I'm building a CW Keying interface to be used with the Parallel port, to
do so I looked into my CT Version 9 manual pages 17, 18 and 19, and
decided to build a K3KU interface to be able to key either a negative or
positive voltage rigs.
Now my problem is that every thing is very clear except were is R1
connected to.
In page 19 Note 2 I found the following information:
"For a parallel printer port R2 goes to SLCT line (DB25M pin 17), and
the emitter of Q2 goes to the Strobe line (DB25M pin 1), rather than
ground."
But it doesn't say were I must connect R1 to get the +5Vcc.
Does any one knows were (to which pin of the DB25M parallel port) should
I connect R1?
