[ct-user] Help with 9.86 in DOS

Have Windows98
Have CT version 9.8.6

trying to set up for A160 test

cw keying works fine
radio interface works fine
All contest parameters look fine for: single op, high power, contest =
a160,  band = mono 160, mode = cw

whenever I try to enter a call to the log   "record via the 'enter' key"
the program immediately aborts back to the DOS prompt and I get the
following error:

"Bad Band or Mode in AR160 test"

Any ideas?
