Now, I'm not a super techie but, my understanding is that XP does not talk
directly to the ports (like LPT1). In talking to Tom Dandrea (Win-EQF), I
asked him how he managed to get Win-EQF to do CW with XP. The answer is
that there are "kernel drivers" that allow it. This means changing the
actual program to use these drivers.
I think that it is already being tested for CT and I was wondering if
anybody had heard any word on any progress.
In the meantime, I have a hard disk with Win98 on it which I swap in (rack
mount) when I want to use CT.
