What you are missing is that - yes that is the purpose for the reflector -
but also purpose of the archives - since the reason 99.9% of the time that
an Icom 7xx won't work with CT is that the address/baud rate hasn't been set
to something CT likes - something that must have been posted - and
answered - 200 times already.
I had hoped to contact the parties who had originally expressed and interest
in them 3 months ago, and I had no idea of the value... and my experience
with e-Bay has not been necessarily painless - plus - this is a contest, and
nearly CT, specific item.
But since some people seems to have a problem with my not setting a price -
I will sell two of them to those who have already responded, and keep one
and the cable, in case for some strange reason I decide to change back to
CT - perhaps if it should ever be a stable Win XX program that supports
DVP - but I doubt I will ever need it ...

What am I missing here? I signed up for this reflector because ""My Icom 7xx
won't work with CT - what is wrong?"" and other related ""PROBLEMS and/or
ISSUES"" involving CT. Selling a CT(only) related product seems acceptable,
but starting an auction, in my feeble mind, is crossing the line. Set a
price and sell it then move on.
