Gee, we ran 3 MPs 48 hours each in CQ WW CW and SSB at J3A and never saw one hang. We didn't do a lot of point-and-shoot...too busy running most of the time. The CT (Alt-J) freq readout would age out for lack of activity, but a jog of the dial would enliven it. We used 9.46 and DOS 6.22 in a loop network. The update rate on the MP is programmable. Could there be a "wrong" rate?
