[ct-user] ?simple/stable CT for FD?

Hi folks,
   We'll be using ct.something for field day this year. The donated
computer may be as lowly as a 286 with 4M RAM, maybe a 386. We will have no
external connections for rig, rotor, DVP, network.
   Will 9.39 fit comfortably in a 286/4? 386/4or8? Is 9.39 ready for prime
time?(several anomalies reported on reflector)?
   What version would you recommend using for field day?
