[ct-user] Rig control in 9.34

Hi all.  After about 4 hours of fiddling, I'm wondering if it's just me or
not.

I am using 9.34 with a 486dx4/100, 16mb and my Icom IC-729 rig.  While
testing I noticed that entering the frequency on the command line changes
modes sometimes but not always. And when going to cw, it chooses my narrow
filter.  When I enter 7140 it chooses USB.  Any ideas?

I changed the diodes in the rig to match the IC-737 settings.  Should I take
it apart AGAIN and choose an older rig?  Or is this a known issue?
