Thanks for all the answers. I've used CT for years with almost every kind
of radio and this one had me stumped. It just suddenly started working all
by itself as I was looking at the screen. This one's for the books. Still
don't know why it didn't work. Works normally now with both 9.27 and 9.37
set as TS-850 and I didn't change a thing.
