Many thanks to those who responded to my query who advised
me that if I had only consulted my manual more closely (specifically
page 95) I would have perhaps seen a particular text command
called NOCOMPRESS that would have solved the problem. Sri
guys about the RTFM thing. Think I'll now go slink in a corner somewhere
being somewhat redfaced.
To K5TR....I wouldn't count on any kick backs this Christmas George. :-)
