It was fun playing in the Hawaii, Kansas and Ohio QSO parties this weekend.
Let the fun continue this coming Sunday with the annual running of the
TENNESSEE QSO PARTY. Mark your calendars. We are down to the last few
days before this year's party. For all the details and information on many
mobile routes and active counties, visit our TNQP website at:
http://tnqp.org/ The last few years have seen a significant increase in SSB
activity so this year's action on SSB and CW should be non-stop.
Here's a brief summary of the details:
When: 1700z (1 PM EDT) Sunday, September 1 until 0300z Monday (11 PM EDT
Sunday), September 2, 2024 (note the 1 hour earlier start time! 10 hours
total now)
Where: All amateur bands except 60, 30, 17 and 12 meters.
Modes: Phone (no repeater QSOs), CW, Digital (RTTY, etc.)
Exchange: Tennessee stations: Send RST+4 character county designator
Out-of-state stations: Send RST+ state; DX send RST + "DX"
