Greetings Diddlers,

Another great turnout last week. Several new (or relatively new) stations
joined in the fun: KK6P (W7IV in disguise), AA4DD, VA2SIB, and K9DX. Welcome
all, and hope you had a fun 30 minutes.

A quick reminder for all the new stations: dupes are ok if you work another
station in between, or you make a Q on a different band. This can be great
practice for those of you trying SO2R. I know it seems a little weird, but the
CW NS started out with dupes and look where they are at!

Also, please review the writeups about Sprint operating on the NCCC web site
(http://www.ncccsprint.com/rttyns.html ) . I know most contests are kind of
free form when it comes to exchanges, but Sprints have a definite protocol to
make things as efficient as possible. It really does speed up the exchanges
and increases the number of Qs for everyone.

The upcoming weekend is the NAQP RTTY. Just 10 hours out of 12 to give your
RTTY skills a good test. Not sure you are ready? Join us Thursday evening and
make sure everything is tickling the ether at maximum efficiency.

The details for our little get together this week:
