the morning, South America for most of the day and the south Pacific

The solar flux index has been above 100 for four days in a row and is
forecast to rise above 110 this weekend. SFI is likely to remain above
100 for at least another week.

The planetary K index is forecast to remain at quiet levels all weekend.
There is a possibility of unsettled intervals and a possible active interval
due to enhanced solar wind. There is also an isolated chance of an
M-class solar flare that could cause a brief sudden ionospheric
disturbance and propagation blackout on the sun facing side of the Earth.
