How about the guest operator who shows up before the contest for a
single-op operation, while the host spends the weekend fixing things the
go wrong? With remote operation, the guest op doesn't even have to
actually be there.
Personally, I've always just disregarded guest op scores when comparing them to my own. 73, Scott K9MA On 10/3/2020 3:50 PM, Mike Smith VE9AA wrote: I don't know the answer either, but I suspect, if anything, it's a M/S category, not an "assisted" category. After all, your Dad didn't scour the bands, or log into DXsummit and "feed" you multipliers. He was active (in a minor way) in the hardware part of your operation.I am one of those guys that plays it pretty tight to the rules, but changing an antenna (a human antenna switch) seems pretty inconsequential and harmless to me.Contact the sponsor and be honest about what you did and he/they can best advise.Mike VE9AAMike, Coreen & Corey Keswick Ridge, NB_______________________________________________ CQ-Contest mailing list CQ-Contest@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/cq-contest -- Scott K9MA k9ma@sdellington.us _______________________________________________ CQ-Contest mailing list CQ-Contest@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/cq-contest |
