Hi,
This is not related to contesting (Spy vs Spy?) but perhaps is of interest to
anyone who's been intrigued by numbers stations or had one for a neighbor like
I did for a while.  Maybe also a brief diversion from thinking about our
current situation.

There is a movie called "The Numbers Station", a thriller about a CIA operative
(John Cusak) sent to protect personnel at a clandestine numbers station in
England.  It's an average action movie, but I was interested in whatever radio
equipment was shown.  Turned out it was all computer interfaced.  I didn't see
any transmitters or antennas, just big monitors.

Bad guys took over the station to send their own bogus messages.  A great deal
of violence ensued.  Lots of bodies.  John won.

And John had a crisis of conscience about his career choice, although I wasn't
quite sure why since he made a difference and saved the day.

73,

Ken, AB1J
