The next NA CW Sprint will be run on September 13 from 0000Z up to 0400Z
(September 12 Saturday Night local time).
The rules are here: http://ncjweb.com/Sprint-Rules.pdf
and on the National Contest Journal (NCJ) website.
I have the honor to write the magazine and website article for the contest
results, and am asking for photos that show you and your station. There is
space for between three and five photos. Thanks in advance.
If you would like to warm up and get used to the "Sprint QSY rule," which
requires that you QSY after making a contest on "your" frequency (prevents a
station from staying on one frequency and running callers), please check the
rules, and practice your new "Sprint moves" in the NS (NCCC Sprint) Ladder
coming up Thursday nights on the four weeks prior to the "Big Sprint" on Sept.
12 local time.
One of the key aspects to the Sprint is the "team" concept. While a few teams
are organized for high scores, most of them are a group of friends and/or
stations with similar setups and goals. The key is participation and teams of
up to five operators max add activity and fun to the mix. Get together with
some of your friends and come up with a team and a cool name as well. Be sure
to register your team before the Sprint.
Please pass this announcement along to your local and regional radio clubs.
CU in the action!
