I’ve often wondered why folks can recognize/remember my callsign so easily.

I have sent WN4 in a contest and folks reply with my call.

My call is so long that the guys who are ADDPositive miss the first letter
and the last letter and think that I’m Howie, N4AF.... That’s a compliment!

I’ll need to get me a shorter call when i get older so that I can remember
it from beginning to end. :):) i said when I get older.

My call is so long and strange that some ops might think that I’m sending a
W1AW code practice copy of a ‘Brass Pounders’ article.

My call is so long that the hamfest ‘badge guy’ charges me a premium plus
never the ‘sane day’ pickup.

My call was so long that the FCC Mailed it to me ‘postage due’.
