No sarcasm intended here - I assumed that the reason so many FL stations were
signing "Walt" had to do with Disney World. I figured that one person started
it for some reason and everyone else thought it was funny or a good idea or
easier to send than "Constantine" or whatever.

I didn't know W7SE, but it sounds like a very sincere and appropriate way to
honor him. In the future, I'll be a bit wiser.

Hello Gary, thanks for your note.

Walt, W7SE was a long-standing honorary member of the Florida Contest Group.
Sadly, Walt passed away on August 30th, 2019. He was an avid contester and was
on one of the teams in last January’s NAQP CW. Walt and his xyl, Dolores lived
in Laramie, WY. Walt and his WY multiplier will be missed in contests from
here on.

Thanks for asking.

Nice score George and thanks for the QSOs.

I wondered what the deal was with all the "Walts" from FL.

I'm looking forward to FL in Feb. Had a big snowstorm here today. Ugggg.

Comments:

This was my first time to work the 10 hours straight through. Condx were good,
and low bands were quiet, especially 80m.

Thanks to all of our team participants. Our five teams were W7SE Memorials to
Walt, who was on a NAQP team last January. He sadly became a SK on August 30th.
Walt was an avid contester, and his WY mult will be missed.

n1MM+ calculated the score to be 160,008.
