Yesterday afternoon the signal at 14.001.5MHz was S9+20 in SE Michigan, at a beam heading around 60 degrees. Yesterday evening the signal was gone.

Have been listening since about 5:30am EST this morning and the signal re-appeared at 13:00z (8:00am EST). Strength was again S9+20, but fading now.

When signal was strong I captured a panadapter screenshot showing distinctive ACK/NACK between Tx and Rx at intervals of about 2 seconds.

Many such signals between 6.4 and 6.8 but a vy strong one on 6449

From FN66 (NB) I took a listen in the early evening last night, so 20m
would've been in its death throes

but the bigger signals would've still been coming through.

I heard absolutely nothing, so I think you can likely rule out anything HP
in NB or Northeast Maine, or HP in the Midwest.

I'll listen again tonight a little earlier.

Did some tests and comparisons from other listeners this morning.

It's in the vicinity of Maine, southeastern VE2, VE9, VE1, VY2 ...

Need some local reports from these areas.
