Its the same situation if you're in Tennessee or Kentucky competing
against Delaware. You're only hope is to guest or remote operate
from much further east.
Under these rules, you're only hope for being selected as a Team Leader is to:
- own, guest op or remote operate a SOHP SO2R mega-station in a
favorable location for DX contests, or
- find a guest operator opportunity at a somewhat less capable SOHP
station in the less competitive selection areas (you can figure out
which ones they might be...).
- perhaps compete in the still-undefined WRTC-Style MS or M2 category
As everyone knows or should know -- contest rules are not, never
have been, and can never be completely fair. You make whatever
adjustments you can to improve your capabilities and your set realistic
goals. Most importantly enjoy yourself, if you can't do that you're
in the wrong game.
