This coming weekend (Sept 15-16), the Salmon Run will be on the air.
Just point those antennas to the Pacific Northwest and we'll be waiting for
you in Washington State.

solo, will be working county lines and individual counties but off the air
for
40-60 minutes at a time while moving between locations.)
It's possible WW7D will also announce. He usually waits until just
before the event and normally does a western and eastern Washington split.

Regarding Hurricane Florence:
Please be aware that the Hurricane Watch Net SSB frequencies are 14.325
and 7.268. That 40M frequency is close to the suggested Salmon Run SSB 40M
frequency of 7.260.
During Salmon Run, please adjust so you do not interfere with
the Hurricane Watch Net
or other Emergency related nets (WX4NHC, SATERN, etc) . Because of the poor
20M propagation, any 40M frequencies used by emergency services may take on
additional significance.
