I think that it's great to acknowledge excellence in all aspects of
contesting. Some additional rate leader boards that I would love to see
would be:
- Best 10 min rate
- Best 60min S&P rate
- Most consecutive QSOs without a bust, or alternatively the best
error-free hour.
While it's a great deal of fun to sustain high QSO rates for a full hour
(or even an entire contest) that is not really possible from many
locations. But doing so for 10 mins happens a lot, even for stations that
might not be competitive in the overall standings. Winning takes a
combination of many skills, but there is no harm in highlighting those who
excel in one area or another.
