If everyone is running assisted and sees the spot, what exactly is the purpose of dual CQing on the same band? One spot is enough for everyone to find the CQer. Is it speed? Maybe on CW it will add to speed just like synchronized CQing does in SO. But on SSB? Not sure its as effective. I think same band dual CQing made much more sense before spotting than it does today.
