Can't speak for anyone else John, but when I noticed N1MM flagging WP2AA with
0 points (I think after our 2nd contact) I knew something was up with the
country file.

Simple solution was to quickly edit the entry to add "KP2" for the location and
rescore the log, and that was that. Didn't take 30 seconds.

Sorry to hear that this caused you some grief, though.

And to be blunt, anyone who argued with you or decided to delete the QSO
because their software mis-indentified you as domestic NA and not DX? That's
on them. What, after all, is the cardinal rule of DX'ing? WFWL! What is the
corresponding rule of logging in a contest? Log what was sent, not what you
think they sent!

Thank's for the QSOs. And sorry if my audio stunk at first, my primary rig
developed an issue and I had to switch to my backup.

See you in the next one.

This is a terrible error as it caused a lot of confusion all weekend long
and it probably caused me to lose many QSOs. I had many DX stations that
continuously called me and if I eventually worked them they kept asking for
my state. Many US stations asked if I was in the Virgin Islands because
their logging program (typically N1MM) said otherwise. A couple people
mentioned that they were going to delete the QSO thinking that I was not DX.
WP2 is a U.S. Virgin Island prefix and WP2AA has only been used in St Croix
VI by me.

The country file(s) were incorrect in causing WP2AA to be logged as
USA instead of USVI. I will be publishing updated files some time
Monday 3/6.

Cabrillo logs don't include multiplier information, so this should not
prevent you from submitting your log to ARRL. They prefer you use the
web submission form at:
