/Agreed. There were plenty of zero pointers to work, who sat and called
cq endlessly. Why does the USA always get "punished"? There are lots
more hams in EU now then ever. The scores show that it was a pretty good
contest over there./
Mike,
Look at K5TR's breakdown from his 3830 post :
K 2 12 187 164 253 64 682 25.1
VE 9 24 62 135 142 10 382 14.0
JA 0 1 191 29 122 1 344 12.6
160 80 40 20 15 10 Total Pct
---------------------------------------------------------------------
North America 22 64 303 351 457 106 1303 47.9 South America 7 22 40 68
117 104 358 13.2 Europe 1 14 103 124 158 5 405 14.9 Asia 0 1 203 35 125
1 365 13.4 Africa 4 10 19 11 30 9 83 3.0 Oceania 1 11 91 21 69 15 208
7.6 -------------------------------------------------------------- Total
35 122 759 610 956 240 2722
682 of his QSO's (25%) were worth ZERO points ! 14% were with VE. Only
12% with JA.
Almost 1/2 of his total QSO's were with North America.
I would sure like to see the breakdown like this from a station that
operated in EU. I bet 75% or more of their QSO's were with other EU
stations.
