There seems to be some universal law of human nature that the more
idiotic or extravagant the claim the more life it has, and the more
likely it gets repeated as Mr. Thompson has done here.

Gee, lies continue to be repeated as fact, just as with politics!
The K3, K3S, and KX3 CANNOT be made to click. Most other modern radios
click by default, and can be made to click even more by menu settings.
Clicks are generated not only by rigs, but by amplifiers that are used
wrong by the operators. See my recent post about this.
