Now that FQP has us all warmed up..
This coming weekend has the trifecta of QSO parties - Indiana, 7QP and
NewEngland, (and Delaware for the first time). For those of you outside of
these areas, N1MM supports it by selecting "IN7QPNE" as the state under the
QSO party contest selection. This allows you to accept QSOs from any of the
three. For those of you inside one the QSO party states, tell N1MM or your
logging software your state or 7QP and it will handle the rest. Remember to
copy all exchanges exactly as sent.
When the contest is over, send your whole Cabrillo log file to all three of
the sponsors: logs@neqp.org inqp@hdxcc.org and 7qplogs@codxc.org .
Removal of non-counting QSOs is done automatically by the sponsors' log
scoring operation. What Delaware needs is unknown at this time.
The 7QP will have a passel of mobiles. You can chase them more easily by
checking out their individual schedules and APRS info which is linked
through the 7QP planned
<http://ws7n.net/7QP/new/Page.asp?Content=START&Page=2> operations page.
We are on track to provide more than 230 counties on the air this weekend,
some of which have never been active in 7QP before.
7QP starts at 1300Z, INQP starts at 1600Z and NEQP starts at 2000Z but also
runs on Sunday till 2400Z.
See you on May 2nd !
73,
Dick, K4XU
