This coming Saturday (Feb. 7, 2015) the fabulous *Minnesota QSO Party* will hit the airwaves starting at 14:00 utc. Once again our mobile operators will activate all 87 counties during this 10-hour event. The wx forecast is for balmy 34 degree temperatures with a cloudy sky.

You can review all the MnQP rules on the www.w0aa.org website. Here's a direct link to the 17th Annual Minnesota QSO Party page: http://w0aa.org/index.php/mn-qso-party Many of the mobiles will be active with APRS and the website includes a real-time activity map to help track their movements across the state.

Working an 87-county sweep can be a challenge, but you can increase your changes when you also use the handy-dandy 2015 MnQP activity workbook. This tool allows you to determine what MN counties will be active, at what times, and by which mobile stations. Fixed stations are also include in this activity table. This tool is written in Excel 2003 and can be used with most spreadsheet programs. Download your free copy from here:

Let me know if you have any problems getting a copy or using the tool.

You will find all of the MnQP resources listed on this MWA page: http://w0aa.org/index.php/resources

Good luck and I hope to work you this weekend.
