On the other hand, I have a RadioSport RS60CF, which are similar and think
they're awesome.
Regarding the cost, yes, they are expensive, but they're also built very,
very well. Given the quality, the user-replaceable parts, their noise
reduction and comfort, I don't regret the purchase.
Also, the CM-500's I used to use back when I had my K3s, only lasted a few
years before the vinyl on the ear pieces deteriorated. Being
non-replaceable, it meant I had to toss them. I thought they represented a
good value in all other respects.
I see that Heil Sound now has the "Pro 7" model, which looks very similar to
the RadioSport RS60CF. I haven't seen them in person, so have no opinion.
