The reason the pricing is the same is because it all is the same CON group.
Reservations made at check out last May or on Monday August 4 get the same
rate (below rack rate) because it is the same CON group code block
reservation that I guarantee to the Crowne Plaza (CP) hotel - so everyone
can get the best rate possible (at the CP) for Hamvention.

Thanks to everyone who responded to my query yesterday.
To my surprise, though I never received an e-mail, I found out that the
hotel had enrolled me in the IHG Rewards Club. When I logged in, it
showed my reservation, complete with a confirmation number. Pricing is
the same as for Tim's group, so I won't need to join the pileup on Monday.
