My XYL and I sell lots of things on Ebay and the Global Shipping System
is easy to use but generally quite costly for the buyer. The seller
sends the item to an Ebay clearing house in the USA and then Ebay ships
the item to the country and acts as the importer. They charge the buyer
for this service and import duties etc.
