I'm not interpreting anything.
I'm quoting the definition of the phrase "QSO alerting assistance" as it
is defined in the rules. Perhaps you have not read them?
Your introduction of a keyer as "assistance" is instead the "red herring"
and has no basis in specific wording of the rules in question.
