Now that everyone understands the rules, I hope, I wanted to call
attention to the current survey on contesting.com, which asks whether
you are interested in participating in this new overlay category. Of
course, the surest test will be what happens in the fall, but it would
help to stir interest if people would vote and offer comments.
As another bit of pot-stirring, I am sponsoring a plaque for the 2013
CQWW CW contest, to be awarded to the top scorer worldwide in the
Classic overlay category. It isn't on the web site yet, but K1AR has my
payment in hand. It would be absurd for me to win it, particularly if
the turn-out is light. I hope to have lots of competition.
