The good news is that if you received a certificate for the
CQ 2012 WW RTTY WPX, you deserved a certificate; there was NO
error in the identification of certificate winners.
The bad news is that if you were Single Operator All Band
in either the LOW or QRP Power, the certificate you received
has errors.
My error was due to a new set of category codes this year
for the WPX RTTY that required a new mapping table, and
my table entry for "AB_L" code, which should have created
LOW POWER RTTY SINGLE OPERATOR ALL BAND
category text instead had a category text of
QRP POWER RTTY SINGLE OPERATOR ALL BAND.
So, all SOAB LOW certificates were incorrectly printed as SOAB QRP.
But, since that constructed category is then used for the rankings
(did you win WORLD, CONTINENT, COUNTRY, or CALL AREA?) and for the
cites (#3 WORLD, etc.), those text were also incorrect, because
the LOW and QRP were ranked/cited as a single category.
Corrected certificates will be mailed on Monday, and the envelope
will have 'CORRECTED CERTIFICATE' in the return address area.
