Mark, contesting is more complicated then that. If both of us call the same
multiplier and I am 10 db louder then you, you will have to wait and loose
valuable time. Provided all the other variables are equal, power advantage of
10db means better score.

At noise level or in the crud, if you can just hear their 100W carrier, you
can still hear the 10W carrier also. If you hear the 10W then also the 1W, 1W
then also the final 100mW.
