As one of those little gun stations, WAE is always fun because it is usually
pretty easy to find a run frequency. As far as the long wait if you lose out on
S&P, if you are a little gun you are used to losing out and you just move on!
I've always just said "nil" to QTC requests in past when I was running and
never found it that big of a deal. This year I actually figured out how to use
CTRL-Z in N1MM and sent as many QTCs as possible. Just about doubled my points
per minute of contesting without requiring bigger/higher aluminum or a bigger
electric bill.
To me, anything with an exchange you actually have to copy makes for a fun
contest, throw in some quirks that make it unique to operate - so much the
better.
