Man.... talk about knocking the joy out of an event.
*Hintings of cheating or dishonest strategies, (spotting advantage or
disadvantage),
*suggestions of changing the WRTC format to a "Sprint" format with qsy rules
(IARU HF is not a Sprint),
*skimmers and cluster bs, (every contest)
*suggestions of having contestants using a "low end" radio and dipole antennas,
(is this the mainstream of contesting?)
*wanting a mainstream magazine (other than NCJ) to run article to reflect the
blog post, and
complain that the contestants haven't posted comments on the blog
( they tra veled to Russia, not Wisconsin for this competition, and at great
personal expense.
Some made t his a vacation of a lifetime after the contest, cut them some
slack)
maybe the reflector will clear itself of this before CQWW.
I offer congratulations to all of the contestants and the sponsors!

Zig - KM9M
