Hi Dan: Great job on the writeup of the 2008 Florida QSO Party.
http://www.floridaqsoparty.org/results/fqp2008.pdfI promise to try to do a lot
better this year, CW only.
The FQP has several attractions for me: no 160 and 80 Meters, lots of CW
activity, and I have an all-water path from here to Florida (except for a
handful of VA and NC barrier islands), helping my hardware-challenged station.
I think of Jim White, K4OJ, whom I met when I moved to Connecticut in 1973. I
wonder how many people remember that when I quit my job as ARRL "contest
editor" in 1977, Jim and you took over as summer college student employees.
They can read your good work on line in October 1977 QST in the ARRL
International DX Competition results.
