Yes, I understand ... I was refering more to the term "unstable operator"
In dayton weve joked around with the likes of N2NT, K5ZD, W2Gd and many others
that in fact theyve had these out of body experiences, i guess that In WW is
less of an issue since exchanges are simple, but in other contests
it may be more challenging.
Next time you hear one of our great operators sending crazy stuff, dont call
them LIDs' just tell them to take a break.
test!

Nothing "politically correct" about it, Felipe.
The "unstable" refers to the fact that log robot found information in the
exchange from a particular station was not consistent throughout the contest.
For example, if I send a check of "99" a thousand times in the course of the
contest, and in 10 logs they find something else, those 10 logs take a hit.
But if the robot finds many many deviations from "99", then it considers that
element "unstable" in my QSO's, and does not deduct from other logs for that
element.

Hans,
Thanks for the politically correct explanation.. I guess you mean a "Loco
operator"?
IM sure Ill be joining that list on sunday after not sleeping for a few
days.. It
is a toughtful solution for a known problem of operators hearing voices and
other allucinations..
Last time I had one, I was dreaming of walking on the boom of the 2 el 40
yagi up 140 ft., was sending Cw with the paddle instead of the keyboard and God
knows what I was sending..
Suddenly after 5 or 6 people sent LID in a row I woke up.... remember this
year instead of LId use Loco..
hi hi..

Probably not. I've read somewhere (probably here) that the log checking
software is able to detect "unstable station" exchange information, and
does
not throw the contact out.
