I'd ask Matt, KC1XX. He installed mine at 6Y1V.

Subject: [CQ-Contest] Star Guys & 1/4" EHS

Hi,

I am trying to find out the correct tension
for using 1/4" EHS Guy wire with star guys.
There is no information on this in the Rohn
Catalog (that I could find) and two Rohn
suppliers have told me that they don't know.

For Guys with 1/4" EHS the normal tension is
about 550 lbs.

What is the correct tension to be used with
star guys? I am sure that it is less than 550 lbs.

Does anyone know? Please advise.

Tnx & 73
