Thanks to the ARRL Web guys for pushing everything else to the back
burner for a day to finish converting and formatting the DX Phone
results - www.arrl.org/contest/results. (It's not easy maintaining a
40,000-page Web site...) The full article is now available - it
covers all of the results and the complete set of tables is there,
too...enjoy!
The volunteer Divisional Writeup authors are still at work in some
cases - those Division are marked "Under Construction", so keep
checking the site. In particular, the Caribbean analysis by KU8E
should be up early next week.
Speaking of Divisional Writeups - the New England Division author has
a new job and can't write up his set of results this year. If anyone
from the New England Division can spend a couple of hours looking at
some scores, please contact me off the list - it will be greatly
appreciated by me and by the worthies of the Division.
Should you be reading the article and thinking, "Gee, I'd sure like to
see [blank] written up!" just let me know and I'd be delighted to have
you write a sidebar on almost any topic. That's the beauty of the Web
article - we can add content 24/7/365. For example, I'd LOVE to have
more DX coverage, more maps, more graphs and charts, more photos,
interviews, photo essays, audio clips, fingerpainting, interpretive
dance videos...what do you have to share?
Contesting has a lot of great stories to tell - much more than the
scores - so tell one! You don't have to be a great writer - I can put
you in touch with editors that will make you look like Shakespeare.
