After our field day and July 4th break, NS Ladder resumes Thursday
As usual, see www.ncccsprint.com for details.
Results through week 11 should be posted shortly. . . be sure to look
at East of Mississippi division and note the average scores. While
W4NZ has a large numerical lead, his average score matches that of
Steve, N9CK, who can in theory still make the 12 sessions by showing
up and doing well in the last three events. And watch out for N4OGW,
who has by far the highest average score, and could easily win the NS
Wine by showing up for the last three events.
And. . watch for news of a special experimental NS Ladder session to
be held next week 30 mins prior to NS Ladder. You can help the NS
Ladder Board decide how the dupe rule influences the competitiveness
of the smaller station participants by participating in a 25-minute
session to be held from 0200-0225Z July 18. For now, try to set aside
this time in addition to the regular NS Ladder session, which will be
held without modification. For this experimental session, in which
dupes on the same band will not be allowed, the SNS will be suspended
for 1 week.
