Andrei may have gone over the top a bit, but don't downplay RTTY
contesting. It's lots of fun and for those who like hi-tech stuff, both
hardware and software, way more interesting than the traditional modes.
Give it a try, you might like it. Transmitting and receiving is all done
with software these days and all you need hardware wise is a couple of
cables which you can buy or build.
If you are at all interested, please join the RTTY reflector at
www.contesing.com. Lots of good guys and help for newcomers.
